Lead Fence Erector / Experienced Fitter

Due to ongoing business expansion, Direct Fencing & Contracting is looking to add a Lead Fence Erector to our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic company that works on a variety of projects which includes large-scale, commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Erecting close-board, steel railings, and gates on private and commercial sites
• Supervising and leading a small team when required (after training)
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines
• Adhering to all safety regulations and site policies
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions
  Requirements:
• Must be able to drive and be able to meet at our yard within 5miles of Loughborough no later than 7am.
• A Green CSCS card as a minimum (Blue CSCS card is beneficial)
• Previous experience working on large-scale commercial projects or building sites is beneficial and aligned with the requirements to attract the higher end of the salary band quoted
• Experience in erecting close-board fencing, steel railings, and gates is highly desirable
• Ability to perform physical, manual Labour and work efficiently in all weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• References or proof of previous work in the fencing or construction industry required
• Hours:
  Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm
  • Regular overtime is available and paid at an enhanced rate
• Salary:
  £30,000 – £50,000 per annum, depending on experience and overtime worked
  Additional Benefits:
• Performance bonus available based on individual and team performance
• A trial period will apply in order to establish ways of working etc. however the contract is full time and permanent, we want to offer security to our small, growing team
