What is an Armco barrier?
Armco is the industry standard for corrugated steel crash barriers (often seen on motorways). It is incredibly strong and designed to deform slightly upon impact to absorb energy. It is ideal for protecting buildings, fuel tanks, and walkways from moving vehicles.
Do you install telescopic bollards?
Yes. We supply and install telescopic (retractable) bollards which are perfect for securing private driveways or commercial forecourts. They can be lowered into the ground to allow access and raised to prevent vehicle theft or unauthorised entry.
Can barriers be bolt-down or dug-in?
We offer both. Bolt-down posts are suitable for existing concrete surfaces (like warehouse floors or car parks). Dig-in posts are concreted into the ground for soft surfaces or where maximum impact resistance is required. We will advise on the best method during our site survey.
Do you offer high-visibility finishes?
Yes. While standard galvanised steel (silver) is durable, we frequently install barriers and bollards powder-coated in Safety Yellow or with reflective banding to ensure they are clearly visible to drivers, reducing the risk of accidental collision.
