Panel fencing (often “lap panels”) comes in pre-made sections. It is cost-effective and quick to install, making it perfect for gardens. Closeboard fencing (or feather edge) is constructed on-site using vertical boards nailed to rails. It is generally stronger, more durable, and easier to repair than panels.
Can you install concrete posts?
Yes. We highly recommend using concrete posts and gravel boards with wooden fencing. Unlike timber posts, concrete does not rot in the ground, significantly extending the life of your fence and ensuring it stays upright in strong winds.
Is the wood treated?
